How could sustainable education technology infrastructure look like?

We shared our vision with the Computing Within Limits community, where we published an article framing digital education infrastructure in higher education as a multi-disciplinary problem of resource reduction.

On the 17th of January 2024 we participated ECIU Erasmus+ Projects dissemination & networking event.

We shared with ECIU colleagues the results of the Summer School “Exploring the Sustainable Future of Digital Education in Europe and its Infrastructure”, held in July 2023 in Trentino, Italy. The Summer school has been organised by University of Trento and it is part of the C-Flex project Result 4.

Sharing best practices from the Summer School 2023 in Trento. Emphasizing "Challenge-Based Learning," participants collaborated with peers from diverse backgrounds to explore challenges posed by project stakeholders. The program provided a taste of points of friction in transitioning to Digital Education, fostering active learning in remote areas with limited internet access. Students were encouraged to propose solutions to these challenges through teamwork during the summer school.

📚 Knowledge Exchange: Participation in knowledge-sharing sessions that bridge the gap between academia and industry. Exploration how the digital landscape is reshaping traditional education and how you can adapt and thrive in this evolving environment.

🌟 Enhance Professional Development: For professors, this event offered a platform to enhance teaching methodologies and incorporate cutting-edge digital tools. Students gained insights into industry expectations and future career paths, preparing them for success in the digital age.
